In this engaging and interactive class, young learners will embark on an exciting journey into the world of American Sign Language (ASL). Designed specifically for students in grades 1-3, the course will introduce basic ASL vocabulary, such as greetings, colors, numbers, animals, and common everyday phrases. Through fun activities like games, storytelling, students will develop an understanding of the importance of non-verbal communication and learn how to express themselves in a new and unique way.

This class encourages creativity, teamwork, and cultural awareness as students learn about Deaf culture and the significance of ASL in the Deaf community. By the end of the course, students will be able to confidently sign simple sentences and phrases, while also gaining respect for different ways of communicating. This class fosters inclusivity, empathy, and curiosity as children explore the beauty of ASL and expand their communication skills!
