This engaging course is designed for upper elementary and middle school students, and combines fun, hands-on activities with meaningful explorations of diverse regions. Students will develop essential map skills, including reading and interpreting various types of maps, globes, and spatial data. Alongside these skills, they’ll explore the rich cultures, histories, and environments of different regions across the United States and the globe. By the end of the course, students will gain a deeper understanding of how geography shapes our world and their place within it, fostering curiosity and global awareness through interactive learning and cultural discovery.
