Description: In this engaging early elementary STEM course, students will participate in hands-on, collaborative projects that foster creativity and critical thinking. Utilizing the engineering design process—ask, research, imagine, plan, create, test, and improve—students will tackle real-world problems by planning and executing their solutions within a budget and/or with provided resources. They will integrate writing, reading, math, and science through group work and independent exploration as they develop their final products. Each project culminates in testing and modifying their creations before testing again. The class encourages constructive discussions about successes and areas for improvement, ultimately instilling a growth mindset and a passion for learning.
