Description: In this dynamic and engaging hands-on STEM class for upper elementary and middle school students, learners will collaborate in groups to tackle real-world challenges using the engineering design brief process (ask, research, imagine, plan, create, test, improve). Each project begins with a specific problem, and students will manage a budget to plan and develop innovative solutions. By integrating writing, reading, math, and science, they will craft and test their final products, iterating based on feedback and outcomes. Through discussions on successes and setbacks, students will enhance their problem-solving skills and ignite their creativity while fostering teamwork and critical thinking.
