Description:  Making investigators of students, this engaging course aids students in honing their listening and reasoning skills, paying attention to detail, using logical, deductive and evidence-based thinking.  Students will solve various interactive mini-mysteries and will explore the fascinating world of forensic science by investigating fingerprints, collecting evidence such as trace evidence, shoe prints, and handwriting samples, and understanding the role of DNA in solving mysteries. Students will evaluate witness descriptions and witness statements, drawing conclusions based on facts.  Guided by the curriculum from Cold Case Christianity for Kids, students will gather essential tools for their detective bags students will enjoy the thrill of high-stakes investigation discovering the case for Jesus.  They will learn  “how to think, not just what to think” as they examine their faith intelligently. The student will create their own detective badge and graduate with a Cadet Academy Cold Case Christianity certificate, making this an unforgettable journey of discovery and learning.
